Attendance Line (24 hours a day): 403-777-6267 ext. 1
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential and expected for student success. It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent. Your cooperation helps us ensure the safety and well-being of all students. If a student is absent and we have not been notified, office staff will attempt to contact legal guardians at home or at work. Students arriving late must report to the office before proceeding to class.
Attendance Expectations at the CBE
Regular and punctual attendance is foundational to student learning, academic achievement and long-term success. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students applies to all students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
Family Vacations and Events
If your family is planning an vacation during the school year, please complete an Extended Absence Form in the main office. Teachers do not provide homework or class materials in advance for vacation-related absences. Instead, we encourage families to enjoy their time together and create meaningful memories during these trips. Please note that family holidays are considered unexcused absences as per CBE attendance policies.
Non-Instructional Days
During the school year, staff participate in Professional and Organizational Day Non- Instructional Days. Students do not attend classes on these days. The school calendar is available on the school website.
