We’re proud of our school and like to share our spirit.

Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to acknowledge and celebrate dates that are significant to students, staff and communities. Dates of significance* promote a respectful and inclusive school community where everyone belongs and feels welcome. They provide valuable opportunities to learn more about cultural celebrations, religious occasions, and additional awareness days that are recognized by families and staff. By recognizing dates of significance, we embrace the diversity in our schools and communities and commit to fostering welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe environments for all students, families and staff.

* the absence of specific dates does not reflect a lack of significance or value. This is a journey of continuous learning. We encourage students to share the cultural observances and important (sacred) times of the year that are part of their family traditions so that we can all learn together.
