Principal’s Post

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities, recognized each year on December 3, is a day to promote understanding, inclusion, and respect for people of all abilities. It reminds us of the importance of removing barriers, both seen and unseen, and ensuring everyone can feel welcomed and included wherever they go. At Cranston School, we are proud to be an inclusive community that celebrates and supports all learners. Every student brings unique strengths, and we value all of the diverse abilities that enrich our school each day. Thank you for helping us continue to foster a welcoming and caring environment for everyone.

Reminders & Ramblings

  • We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful School Council for their generosity. Your thoughtful provision of Thursday morning snacks for support staff and a delicious evening meal for teachers ahead of Thursday’s conferences filled our bellies and truly warmed our hearts. A special thank you to Sobeys Cranston for preparing the delicious food and to A & W Cranston for generously donating the coffee that helped keep our team energized throughout the long day. We also want to recognize our dedicated parent volunteers who helped during the Scholastic Book Fair. Your time and enthusiasm made the event a great success!
  • CBE has now loaded lunchroom fees into student accounts. Grade 1-4 students who stay at school for lunch MUST register for the lunch program. Please register your child through their MyCBE account.
  • After a long, mild Autumn, the Winter weather is officially here. Please check the forecast each morning to ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor play. In the CBE, students go outside DAILY unless the windchill reaches –20°C or colder.
