  • Mary Brown’s is the fun lunch for those that ordered it this week. Please remember to pack your child snacks! Dates for each class are as follows:
    • a. January 14 – all grade 2’s and 3’s
    • b. January 15 – All grade 1’s and 4’s

Kindergarten and Grade 1 – 4 NEW Student Registration

Starts on Monday, January 13 for the fall of 2025. If your child(ren) are returning to Cranston or moving to Dr. George Stanley nothing needs to be done for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Registrations will be done online through a program called School Engage. All the details are on the CBE website.

5. As we are a lottery school for the 2025-2026 school year all registrations will be organized as per the CBE’s lottery protocol based on the following. This applies to NEW Kindergarten to Grade 4 registrations only. All those students currently attending Cranston School in Kindergarten to Grade 3 remain at Cranston School if you are still residing in our designated areas.

  • Priority One – Students residing within the walk zone who have a sibling that will be attending the same program in the same school; concurrently. Cranston Schools current walk zone are all of those students that reside in Cranston.
  • Priority Two – Students living outside the walk zone who will have a sibling in the same program in the same school at the same time; or students living within the walk zone who do not have a sibling in the school.
  • Priority Three – all other students living in the designated attendance area. This would be those students that reside in Seton.

School Council Meeting

School Council is meeting Tuesday, January 21 at 6:30 pm. All are invited to attend. The meeting will also be online through Teams.

Valentine's Dance

Cranston School Council will be hosting a Valentine's Family Dance on Thursday February 6, 2025. ALL students of Cranston School are invited to attend with an accompanied adult. A bright pink notice came home in your child’s backpack Monday or Tuesday this week. Tickets will be $5/ person and will be on-sale from January 6-20. Student admission tickets will include a complimentary Treat Bag.

TICKET SALES ARE NOW LIVE! There will be 2 dance time-slots to choose from: 5:15-6:30pm and 7:00-8:15 pm School Council will be hosting 2 time slots to be able to accommodate more students and their adult chaperone, and still be able to meet fire code regulations in the gym. Tickets can be purchased. We are assuming this event will sell-out, so to avoid disappointment do not wait to purchase your tickets!
