Kindergarten and Grade 1 – 4 NEW student registration is now open for the fall of 2025. If your child(ren) are returning to Cranston or moving to Dr. George Stanley nothing needs to be done for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Registrations will be done online through a program called School Engage. All the details are on the CBE website.
Parent Society is meeting Tuesday, January 21 at 6:30 pm. All are invited to attend. The meeting will also be online through Teams. Join the meeting now.
Staffing Update - It is with mixed emotions that we are sharing that Ms. Deanne Kiteley, our amazing Administrative Assistant in the front office, has accepted a promotion to the position of Service Desk Analyst. Her new role will see her using her exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to assist CBE staff across the system with all of their support service ticket requests. We would like to thank Deanne for her many years of dedication and service to the students, families, and staff of Cranston School. She will be dearly missed! Deanne’s last day with us will be February 12. We will work with Human Resources to transition a new Administrative Assistant into the school over the coming weeks.
Cranston School Parent Society will be hosting a Valentine's Family Dance on Thursday February 6, 2025. ALL students of Cranston School are invited to attend with an accompanied adult. Tickets are $5/ person and sales are closing on Monday, January 20 at NOON so don’t wait! Student admission tickets will include a complimentary Treat Bag. There will be 2 dance time-slots to choose from: 5:15-6:30 pm and 7:00-8:15 pm Parent Council will be hosting 2 time slots to be able to accommodate more students and their adult chaperone, and still be able to meet fire code regulations in the gym.
