This is an early dismissal day. All students will dismiss at 11:45am.

Croc Jibbitz

Parents: We are having lots of Croc jibbitz go missing/lost/stolen at school. We are asking that all jibbitz be removed and left at home. Thank you.

Food Deliveries

Parents: moving forward the office will not be accepting any food delivery services for students. If they have forgotten their lunch we have food available for them. If you forgot to order fun lunch/snack, disappointment is a valuable lesson to learn.

Fees

Cranston School families have over $130,000 in fees due towards lunch supervision, bussing, fieldtrips, and SSF (Student Supplies Fee) from 2017 to present. Some of these fees are owed to the Calgary Board of Education while others are owed to the school. Funds owed to the school are in excess of $13,000 at this time. Once overdue fees are paid, the money goes back to the schools owed money regardless of the amount of time passed. We encourage you to please take a look at the fees located under the Student Fees & Service Registrations tab when logging into your MyCBE account to view your child(ren)’s report card(s). Lost & Found

There are a lot of lost and found items. Please come into the school and check out our collection! We will have the items all outside the front doors next week. It will all be donated after June 27. 

This Week in Music

The Grade 4 and 5 students revisited some of their favourite music activities, songs, and games before we part ways next week.

Students in Grade 3 played junior hand bells in both single note and chord form.

Grades 1 and 2 students used non pitched instruments as well as Boomwhackers to accompany familiar and seasonal songs.
