Principal’s Post
As we move into March, I have been reflecting on the power of gratitude in a school community. It is easy to focus on what still needs to be done or what lies ahead, but moments like this past week remind us to pause and appreciate what we can accomplish together.
Our Champions Feed Champions – Knock Down Hunger campaign was a beautiful example of collective generosity in action. Together, our Cranston community donated just over 500 cereal boxes to the Calgary Food Bank. Five hundred boxes represent far more than numbers; they represent care, compassion, and a shared commitment to supporting families beyond our school walls.
We are also incredibly grateful to Save-On-Foods (Seton) and Real Canadian Superstore (Seton) for their support of this initiative. Community partnerships like these make a meaningful difference and show our students what it looks like when a community comes together for a common cause. Thank you to our students, families, and staff for modeling generosity and kindness. Gratitude grows when it is shared, and this week, it was shared in abundance.

Successful Bhangra Dance Residency!
- The Bhangra Dance residency was a huge success! Students were energized by the live drummers and dancers, and by the end of the week they had mastered many impressive moves.
