Book Exchange - Return Books
This is the last week of book exchanges. Please ensure all loaned books are returned to the library no later than June 14 to avoid any charges. Thanks for your support.
Fun Lunch
Via Cibo is the fun lunch for those that ordered it this week. Please remember to pack your child snacks! Dates for each class are as follows:
- June 4 – All Grade 1’s, All Grade 5’s, Dei Cont James
- June 5 - All Grade 2’s, All Grade 4’s, McIntosh, Parliament and Sedgewick
Last Day
The last day of school is Thursday, June 27. All CBE schools are doing an early dismissal this day, meaning all students will be dismissed at 11:45 am.
Music
Students continue to learn about the instruments of the orchestra. We reinforced concepts though some music games. Ask your child what their favourite was.
Students in grade one created soundscapes to accompany the story of Chicken Little. Ask if they remember what instruments they used.
We rounded out the week with a celebration glow dance party in the gym with Mrs. McArthur and Mr. Murray.
