• Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten attend on Friday, October 11 from 8:05 AM to 11:45 AM.

• • Picture day for those kindergarten students attending on Monday/Wednesdays will be Monday, November 18
• Out of Chaos cookie snack will be on Friday, October 11 for those who ordered. They will be delivered around 10:00 AM.
• Please ensure you register your Grade 1 - 4 child(ren) for lunch supervision through your MyCBE. Those kindergarten students that are attending our alternating full day programs also need to register for lunch supervision. If you opt out of this service you will have to pick your child up everyday during the lunch period. Our fees department at a date TBD will load all Lunch Supervision and Student Supply fees.
• • You can expect the following for your Lunch Supervision Fees:
  • • A safe and caring environment for students to eat lunch.
    • Supervision for the entire lunch period, unless the student is signed out by a parent/guardian.
    • Daily attendance will be taken.
    • Students must remain on school grounds.
    • A dedicated space for eating.
    • Only students that have registered and paid the lunch supervision fee can access the service:
    • • CBE has a waiver process for families who can’t afford to pay the fees.
      • Note | Use of service indicates that the Parent/Guardian accepts the terms and the responsibility to pay the annual fee.
      • Income tax receipts are issued for Lunch Supervision Fees that may be included as child care expenses for income tax purposes.
      • Lunch Supervision Fees are directed to providing lunchroom supervisors.
    • What lunch supervision service is not:
    • • Access to food or snacks; students are required to bring a lunch.
      • Access to hot water, microwave, dishes, utensils or other cooking facilities.
• Cranston School families have over $99,000 in fees due towards noon supervision, bussing, fieldtrips, and SSF (Student Supplies Fee) from 2017 to present. Some of these fees are owed to the Calgary Board of Education while others are owed to the school. Funds owed to the school are in excess of $9,500 at this time. Once overdue fees are paid, the money goes back to the schools owed money regardless of the amount of time passed. This is money the schools could be using towards extra equipment, activities, special art supplies, technology etc. We encourage you to please take a look at your fees located under the Student Fees & Service Registrations tab when logging into your MyCBE.
