Sept. 23-27 Update | National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, Orange Shirt Day, Allergies

- NO SCHOOL for all grades on Friday, September 27
- NO SCHOOL for ALL Kindergarten students on Thursday, September 26
- NO SCHOOL for ALL students Monday, September 30 as we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
- Orange Shirt Day is Wednesday, September 25. Cranston staff and students will be participating in this annual event. Orange Shirt Day is in recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children’s sense of self-esteem and well-being. Students will be focusing on belonging and place as part of their participation. Students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on this day.
- We are very proud of our students for their fantastic effort and attitudes when participating in the Terry Fox Run! Thank you very much for your donations to the Terry Fox Foundation.
- Allergies / Peanut / Nut Aware - We try to ensure a peanut/nut safe environment, as we have several students and staff with severe allergies. Just a reminder that Nutella falls into this category! Please keep this in mind while preparing student lunches/snacks.
