  • Our annual Terry Fox run will be Friday, September 13. Please ensure your child(ren) are dressed for running on that day. Donation can made online.
  • If you are new to the CBE or still have not created a MyCBE/PowerSchool account please see the attached links below. This is where you will set up times for parent/teacher conferences, monitor attendance, pay for fess (yearbook, fieldtrips, book fines, etc.) and register for lunch supervision. If you have a current account but need to add a new student the ‘how to add additional students’ is also attached! Thank-you! Your child(ren) CBE number is available to you through School Engage if that is how you registered your child(ren). If you registered in person or transferred please come into the office for this information. The office can’t give out this information over the phone or via email as per FOIP.
  • Please ensure you register your Grade 1 - 4 child(ren) for lunch supervision through your MyCBE/PowerSchool account. Those kindergarten students that are attending our alternating full day programs also need to register for lunch supervision. Our fees department at a date TBD will load all Lunch Supervision and Student Supply fees.
  • Healthy Hunger fun lunches/snacks have been loaded for the 2024 - 2025 school year. When you log in for the first time this year ensure you change your child(ren)s homeroom to their new teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Classes are staggered depending on Grade/Lunch groupings. We are doing it this way to ensure that all lunches arrive as warm/hot and fresh as possible due to our staggered lunch times. Please note: the office will not be accepting any food delivery services for students, ie. Skip the Dishes, Door Dash etc. If they have forgotten their lunch we have food available for them. If you forgot to order fun lunch/snack, disappointment is a valuable lesson to learn. The day of the week for each class are as follows: a. Tuesdays – All grade 2 and 3’s b. Wednesdays – All grade 1 and 4’s c. There will be Friday snack days throughout the school year for all Kindergarten students 9.
  • Parent Council is hosting it’s AGM on Tuesday, September 17 at 7:00 PM. Please see the attached flyer about who they are and what they do! All are welcome to attend. 10.BUS PARENTS: If your child is ever not going home on the bus at the end of the day you must notify the office 15 minutes prior the end of the day. If we don’t hear from you we assume your child(ren) are going home on the bus. This can cause panic and delays. Thank you for your assistance during this busy time of the day. 11.The 2024-2025 Cranston Family Handbook is also attached to this email. All information in this document is also posted on the website under the appropriate heading. We encourage all guardians to take a few minutes to go through the information outlined. Thank you.
