We are so very excited to bring the Christmas spirit back to Cranston School!  The students in grades two and three are proud to present, "How to Train Your Reindeer to Fly." 

 

• When:  Wednesday, December 13th, 2023
• Family and friends are invited to attend the Dress Rehearsal 1:30pm.  
• Doors will open for the evening performance at 6:15pm.  
• Two tickets for the evening performance were sent home with your student on Thursday, December 7.  If your child was away, they will receive their tickets next week.  Tickets are required for the evening performance.

 

All other students in the school will have the opportunity to see a rehearsal next week.

 

 

We will continue to spread Christmas cheer by singing loud and clear with the Grade Five students at Sobeys Cranston on Friday, December 15th.  We will be walking over, departing the school at 9am, arrival is expected to be around 9:20am.  We will sing some songs and return to the school upon conclusion.   You are welcome to join us!

 

Students in grade four are learning the song, "The Silver Bells." We have been adding instruments to accompany the song including xylophones, metallophones and glockenspiels, as well as sleigh bells and triangles.  

 

In grade one, we started learning about the Nutcracker Ballet!  We started by learning the story behind the ballet and are now learning how to use our listening skills to identify instruments, dynamics and tempo of the songs.
